"We have reconciled": LR senator Michel Bonnus ate with former Toulon mayor Hubert Falco, in the company of Josée Massi

They hadn't spoken for months. It was finally over a plate of gnocchi that Senator Michel Bonnus, newly nominated by Les Républicains for the upcoming municipal elections in Toulon, and former mayor Hubert Falco, reconciled.
"I invited him to come and eat at my house with Benoît Pelletier (chief of staff of the president of TPM, Editor's note)," says the parliamentarian.
"We reconnected. He gave me his point of view and some advice. We talked about politics, but not only that. I think we can say we've reconciled."
A few days earlier, Michel Bonnus had also invited the current mayor of the capital of Var, Josée Massi, to lunch at his home.
This time, we're looking at Provençal stuffed vegetables. But make no mistake: the former restaurateur doesn't just intend to share the flavors of family cooking.
"I don't close the door on anyone."Between the mayor, who announced to his teams that he wants to start campaigning next September, and himself, a putative candidate for city hall, there are still many points of contention.
And the unity of the centre-right municipal majority against the National Rally is still not clear.
Could the cards be reshuffled under the leadership of Hubert Falco, as is rumored?
"Rushing is not good," says Michel Bonnus, who does not want to "close the door on anyone."
And he continued, enigmatically: "The important thing is Toulon and the people of Toulon. We will all continue to talk to each other between now and mid-August. There will be other rounds of discussion, always with Hubert Falco, with Josée Massi, with Benoît Pelletier, with MP Yannick Chenevard too..." , assures the senator.
It remains to be seen what he will have planned for the discussions.
